There were lots and lots of new designs released at the National Needlework Shows in January and February
and we have many of these available for you at the shop. Market Day was a much fun as usual so we hope
that you will join us for the next event.

Our next BIG - BIG - BIG event will be our FIFTH Birthday. Wow, 5 already, doesn't time fly by!!! We will be
celebrating all month beginning on Saturday, April 5th, with lots of exciting things happening in the shop. We
invite you all to join us as we say THANKYOU for 5 terrific years. There will be oodles of offers in the shop all
associated with the number 5 - maybe even up to 50% off on some items; "5 for the price of 4"; 15%, 25%,
35%, and 45% discounts; Birthday bundles for $5.00, and $15.00 - who doesn't like a suprise package; and
a Birthday gift from us to you on Saturday, April 5th. We will be serving Tea and Cakes to keep up your
stamina.
Follow our birthday with a day out at the Marlins - Stitch & Pitch - Sunday April 6th. Purchase tickets $30.00
($51.00 on game day) through us and pay NO per ticket charge. Marlins will be pitching against the Pittsburg
Pirates. Seating is at Club level B, with access to air-conditioned lobbies, comfortable seating plus we had a
great time last year.
You can also join us at market and shop the designers at the on-line Needlework Show from April 16th-21st -
see new things and discover new designers. Let us know what you like and we will get it into stock for you.

---- The next Beginners Cross Stitch will be April 19th from 10:30am-1:00pm $15.00. Call to reserve a spot.
---- New classes are in the scheduling phase - Hardanger - take the fear out of cutting your fabric,
Punchneedle - fun and fast, Beadazzling stitches - all about enhancing your stitching with beads, Beyond
Cross-stitch - using additional stitches. Our next Newsletter will have more details of dates.
**************** Miami-Dade County Fair - Be There - March 27th to April 13th. See the Needlework exhibits and
if you didn't enter this year, be inspired to submit your entries for next year.
**************** Embroiderer's Guild - next meeting Friday, April 11th, 9:30am at Riviera Presbyterian Church
on Sunset Drive. Learn about weaving and beading, incorporating embroidery into weaving and who knows
